Housekeeping Supervisors supervise work activities of cleaning
personnel to insure clean, orderly and attractive rooms in commercial
establishments such as hotels, hospitals, and educational institutions.
They assign duties, inspect work, investigate complaints regarding
housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. They
may purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, and take periodic
inventories. They may screen applicants, train new employees and
