  1. Pre-Apprenticeship A program or set of strategies designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in a Registered Apprenticeship program which has or have a documented partnership(s) with a Registerd Apprenticeship program(s).
  2. Technical Training School Graduates trained in an occupation from a technical training school related to an occupation registered by the program sponsor and who meet the minimum qualifications for Registered Apprenticeship.
  3. Military Veterans Veterans that completed a military technical training school and/or elect to participate in the Building and Construction Trades Helmets to Hardhats Program or trained in an occupation while in the military related to an occupation registered by the program sponsor and who meet the minimum qualifications for Registered Apprenticeship.
  4. Job Corps Graduates trained in an occupation from a federally funded Job Corps center related to an occupation registered by the program sponsor and who meet the minimum qualifications for Registered Apprenticeship.
  5. YouthBuild Graduates trained in an occupation from a federally funded YouthBuild program related to an occupation registered by the sponsor and who meet the minimum qualifications for Registered Apprenticeship.
  6. HUD/STEP-UP Applicants who successfully participated in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Step-Up program and received an apprenticeship experience which meets the minimum qualifications for Registered Apprenticeship.
  7. Career Center Referral Includes career center participants referred to the Registered Apprenticeship Program and/or apprentice(s) that receive workforce system funded services that support their participation in a Registered Apprenticeship program. This may Include the use of individual training accounts and/or on-the-job training reimbursements.
  8. School-to-Registered Apprenticeship Program designed to allow high school youth ages 16 - 17 to enter a Registered Apprenticeship program and continue after graduation with full credit given for the high school portion.
N/A: I do not meet any of the following conditions.
1: I have been terminated or laid off, or have received notice of layoff, and am eligible or I have exhausted entitlements to UC, and is am unlikely to return to my previous industry or occupation.
2: I have been terminated or laid off, or have received notice of termination of layoff, and have been employed for sufficient duration (based on state policy) to demonstrate workforce attachment, but am not eligible for unemployment compensation due to insufficient earnings, or my employer is not covered under the state unemployment compensation law, and am unlikely to return to my previous industry or occupation.
3: I have been terminated or laid off, or have received notice of termination or layoff from employment as a result of the permanent closure of or substantial layoff at a plant, facility or enterprise.
4: I am employed at a facility at which the employer has made a general announcement that the facility will close.
5: I was previously self-employed (including farmers, rancers and fishermen), but am unemployed due to general economic conditions in my community of residence or because of natural disaster.
6: I am a displaced homemaker; an individual who has been providing unpaid services to family members in the home and has been dependent on the income of another family member but is no longer supported by that income; or is the dependent spouse of a member of the Armed Forces on active duty and whose family income is significantly reduced because of a deployment, or a call or order to active duty, or a permanent change of station, or the service-connected death or disability of the member; and is unemployed or underemployed and is experiencing difficulty in obtaining or upgrading employment.
7: I am the spouse of a member of the Armed Forces on active duty and have experienced a loss of employment as a direct result of relocation to accommodate a permanent change in duty station of my spouse.
8: I am the spouse of a member of the Armed Forces on active duty and am unemployed or underemployed and am otherwise experiencing difficulty in obtaining or upgrading employment.
9: I do not meet the criteria outlined for Dislocated Workers in the categories, but I meet DWG eligibility outlined under WIOA Title ID National Programs, Sec. 170 National dislocated worker grants, relating to Sec. 170(b)(1)(A) workers affected by major economic dislocations OR Sec. 170(b)(1)(B) workers affected by an emergency or major disaster.
